First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Blue Island

First Lutheran is a strong and vibrant faith community in the heart of Blue Island. Since its establishment in 1863, First Lutheran has been dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals to embrace and nurture their Christian faith, while also actively addressing the needs of its surrounding community and neighborhood.

With Sunday Worship at 10am, and weekly Bible studies in English and Spanish, First Lutheran has traditional style worship with modern applications and context. Some of our current outreach ministries include monthly donations to the local food bank, offering an English Conversation Group, and hosting mental health workshops led by licensed specialists.
