We are currently looking to fill a CCBHC Behavioral Health Supervisor role at our Merrionette Park Center!
SALARY: The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of $75,000 to $83,000 annually. Where candidates fall in this range will be based on skill and experience level.
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus for first-time employees with MFS! ($1,250 on the first paycheck and $1,250 after 6 months of employment).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supervises and coordinates all aspects of the programs including items related to service, community groups and personnel matters.
Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of services. Keeps abreast of client service needs and participates in planning for them.
Responsible for all personnel matters withing a program including hiring, employee relations, performance improvement, assigning, and terminating of staff.
Identifies for manager the leadership potential of program staff.
Writes program’s annual and long-range plans.
Participates in developing unit’s annual and long-rang plan.
Recommends program budget to the director.
Ensures appropriate integrations of multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach to program.
Develops and maintains contact with community groups relating to program needs.
Works collaboratively with community agencies, organizations, and institutions.
Works collaboratively with other program supervisors in unit to carry out unit goals and looks for other opportunities for program development.
Supervises and develops intern staff in the program.
Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field, required.
5+ years' experience with increasing levels of responsibility, required.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to efficiently supervise staff.
TRAVEL/TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS:
Driving for work required with a personally owned vehicle. Travel between sites not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
